1 | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 01-09-2023 | As per the instructions of Directorate of Higher Education, we celebrated the literacy week at our college campus from 1-09-23 to 08-09-23.We organised and participated in various activities and programs suggested by your office for the students and faculty members of our college.On the first day of Literacy week our teachers of various cell like Students’ Welfare Cell ,Cultural Cell, NCC and NSS met with the surpanch and other members of Tosham village Panchayat to make them aware the literacy week and its purpose.All the panchayat members along with the surpach assured us to cooperate for this pious mission. |
2 | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 02-09-2023 | On this day we organized Slogan Writing Competition of the students on Jan-Jan Saksharta. Various UG and PG students of our college particiapated in this competition with full zeal. |
3. | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 04-09-2023 | A Declamation Contest was organised by Dept of English and Dept of History on Literacy and its Need for All in Society. |
4. | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 05-09-2023 | A Jan-Chetna Rally was organised by our NCC and NSS cadets and volunteers in the leadership of the incharges of the respective cells with the banners, posters etc. to spread awareness among the residents of Tosham. |
5. | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 06-09-2023 | On this day, our UG and PG Department of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics organized a Poster Making Competition to inculcate the science literacy among the young minds of the college to make them true ambassadors of Literacy Mission. |
6. | BLJS COLLEGE TOSHAM | 08-09-2023 | On the last day of the Literacy Week, a One-Day Workshop on the topic “Understanding Lifelong Learning for All in Society( ULLAS)”.The resource person for this workshop was Dr Vipul Sharma, pride alumunus of our college who is presently working as a Senior Managing Consultant with Eka Software Solutions.He is also a renowned academician. |
